How do I start a project with Adstart Agency? +

We'll schedule a free scoping call within 24 hours to discuss your requirements in detail — no commitment needed at that stage.
Do you work with clients outside Nigeria? +
Yes. We work with clients across Africa, the UK, Europe, North America, and beyond. All project communication happens remotely via WhatsApp, email, and video calls. Payments can be made in NGN or USD depending on your location and preference.
Do I need to have a technical background to work with you? +
Not at all. Most of our clients are business owners, founders, and operators — not developers. We translate your business requirements into technical specifications and keep you informed at every stage in plain language. You don't need to understand code to work with us effectively.
What types of projects do you build? +
We build custom web applications, SaaS products, MVP prototypes, e-commerce platforms, client portals, internal dashboards, and full-stack digital products. If it runs in a browser or on the web, we can build it. Browse our Build With Us page for product ideas and examples.

How long does a project take? +
It depends on complexity. Simple builds like landing pages and brochure websites take approximately 1 week. MVP products and SaaS prototypes take around 3 weeks. Full web applications and complex platforms take approximately 6 weeks. We'll give you a precise timeline during the scoping call based on your specific requirements.
Can you deliver faster if I have an urgent deadline? +
In some cases, yes. Rush delivery may be possible depending on our current workload and the complexity of your project. If you have a hard deadline — such as an investor demo or product launch — tell us upfront and we'll let you know what's achievable. Rush timelines may attract an additional fee.
What causes project delays? +
The most common cause of delays is late feedback or missing content from the client side — copy, images, credentials, approvals. We build in clear checkpoint milestones so you always know what's needed from you and when. On our end, we commit to the agreed timeline and communicate proactively if anything changes.
Do you work on weekends? +
Our core working hours are Monday to Friday. However, for time-sensitive projects or clients in significantly different time zones, we can arrange flexible communication schedules. We'll agree on a communication cadence during the scoping call.

How much does a project cost? +
Our projects start from ₦499,000 for simple builds. Growth-tier projects (web apps, SaaS MVPs) start from ₦899,000, and full-scale platforms start from ₦1,499,000. What are your payment terms? +
We work on a 50/50 split. You pay 50% of the agreed project fee before work begins, and the remaining 50% upon final delivery before handover. This structure protects both parties and ensures alignment throughout the project.
Do you offer payment instalments? +
Our standard structure is 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. We do not currently offer extended instalment plans beyond this split. For larger projects, we can discuss milestone-based payment schedules during scoping.
What currencies do you accept? +
We accept Nigerian Naira (NGN) and US Dollars (USD). Payment method details are shared during the project agreement stage.
Are there ongoing costs after the project is delivered? +
The project fee covers design, development, and delivery. Ongoing costs that may apply separately include hosting fees (paid directly to your hosting provider), domain renewal, and any third-party service subscriptions your product uses (e.g. email APIs, payment processors). We offer optional maintenance retainers for clients who want continued technical support.
[ OWNERSHIP & LEGAL ]
Who owns the code and designs after the project is completed? +
You do. Upon receipt of full payment, all custom code, designs, and deliverables produced for your project become your property. You have full rights to use, modify, and distribute them however you choose. Third-party libraries and frameworks used in the build remain subject to their own open-source licenses, which are standard and non-restrictive.
Do you sign NDAs? +
Yes. If you need to share sensitive business information during scoping or development, we're happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before any discussions begin. Just request one when you reach out.
Will you show my project in your portfolio? +
We may feature completed projects in our portfolio unless you request confidentiality in writing. If your product is in stealth mode or you'd prefer privacy, simply let us know and we'll respect that. Confidentiality can be included in the project agreement.
Do you use contracts? +
Yes. Every project begins with a written project agreement that outlines the scope, timeline, payment terms, deliverables, and ownership. This protects both parties and ensures there are no surprises.

How do you keep me updated during the project? +
You'll have access to a live staging environment throughout development so you can watch the product being built in real time. We also provide bi-weekly progress updates and are available on WhatsApp for quick questions. You're never left wondering what's happening.
How many revisions do I get? +
Each project phase includes a defined number of revision rounds specified in your project agreement — typically two rounds per phase. Additional revisions beyond the agreed rounds are billed at an hourly rate communicated in advance. We find that clear briefs and regular checkpoints keep revisions minimal.
What do you need from me to get started? +
To kick off a project we typically need: a clear brief describing what you want to build, any reference sites or designs you like, your brand assets (logo, colors, fonts) if they exist, and the 50% deposit. We'll guide you through everything during the scoping call.
Can I be involved in the design process? +
Absolutely. We encourage client input at the design stage. You'll review and approve wireframes and design mockups before development begins. Your feedback at this stage shapes the final product — it's much easier to make changes in design than in code.
[ AFTER DELIVERY ]
What happens after my project is delivered? +
We provide a 30-day post-delivery warranty period (60 days for Scale-tier projects) during which any bugs or defects in the delivered functionality are fixed at no additional cost. After the warranty period, ongoing support is available through a monthly maintenance retainer.
Do you offer maintenance and support? +
Yes. We offer optional maintenance retainers for clients who want continued technical support, feature additions, performance monitoring, and security updates after launch. Retainer pricing depends on the scope of support required and is agreed separately.
Can you add new features after the project is launched? +
Yes. Many clients come back to us for phase 2 development after launch. New features are scoped and priced as separate projects or handled under a retainer. We design all products with extensibility in mind so future additions are clean and straightforward.
What if I'm not happy with the final product? +
Client satisfaction is central to how we work. If something doesn't meet the agreed brief, we'll fix it within the warranty period. We address issues directly and quickly. Our process is designed to prevent surprises — with regular checkpoints, staging access, and approval gates throughout — so that the final delivery reflects exactly what was agreed.
